چکیده

After finding analogies between turbulence and the beable interpretation of the spontaneous collapse model of the wave function, we unravel the underlying Lévy dynamics in such model. Using an affine noise in the collapse process, we obtain the intermittency corrections to Richardson’s t law for the turbulent diffusion. PACS: 05.40.Fb, 03.65.Bz, 02.50.Ey Typeset using REVTEX

Enhanced Diffusion and the Continuous Spontaneous Localization Model

We find an analogy between turbulence and the dynamics of the continuous spontaneous localization model (CSL) of the wave function. The use of a standard white noise in the localization process gives Richardson’s t law for the turbulent diffusion, while the introduction of an affine noise in the CSL allows us to obtain the intermittency corrections to this law. Numerical investigation of free surface flood wave and solitary wave using incompressible SPH method

Simulation of free surface flow and sudden wave profile are recognized as the most challenging problem in computational hydraulics. Several Eulerian/Lagrangian approaches and models can be implemented for simulating such phenomena in which the smoothed particle hydrodynamics method (SPH) is categorized as a proper candidate. The incompressible SPH (ISPH) method hires a precise incompressible hy...

A Beable Interpretation of the GRW Spontaneous Collapse Model

We extend the beable interpretation, due to Bell, to the Ghirardi, Rimini and Weber [GRW] model of spontaneous collapse of the wave function. Results obtained by Vink are generalized to the modified Schrödinger equation of Ghirardi, Pearle and Rimini [GPR], which allows a beable interpretation for both position and momentum.

Wave Propagation and Fundamental Solution of Initially Stressed Thermoelastic Diffusion with Voids

The present article deals with the study of propagation of plane waves in isotropic generalized thermoelastic diffusion with voids under initial stress. It is found that, for two dimensional model of isotropic generalized thermoelastic diffusion with voids under initial stress, there exists four coupled waves namely, P wave, Mass Diffusion (MD) wave, thermal (T) wave and Volume Fraction (VF) wa...

Wave Propagation at the Boundary Surface of Inviscid Fluid Half-Space and Thermoelastic Diffusion Solid Half-Space with Dual-Phase-Lag Models

The present investigation deals  with the reflection and transmission phenomenon due to incident plane longitudinal wave at a plane interface between inviscid fluid half-space and a thermoelastic diffusion solid half-space with dual-phase-lag heat transfer (DPLT) and dual-phase-lag diffusion (DPLD) models. The theory of thermoelasticity with dual-phase-lag heat transfer developed by Roychoudhar...
